He is a sought after solo performer (piano, voice, guzheng) as well as an educator (music, yoga/meditation). (Darren's resume available here.) As a performer, he provides robust experiences for all audiences by calling on his vast repertoire to accommodate all tastes and his genuine love to connect with people. He feels equally comfortable playing Beethoven in a concert hall as he does singing Billy Joel in a bar. As an educator, Darren combines his 20 years of experiences as a private music instructor with his 5 years teaching at one of Chicago’s best ranked high schools to help people of all walks of life, ages, and abilities focus their love of music into rewarding performance skills. He also uses his experience as a yoga/meditation teacher to help his students find their unique voice and confidence. |
